Day itinerary

  1. 08:00 – 11:30Transfer from Tbilisi to the Javakheti plateau. Group gathering at the “300 Aragviytsev” metro station and departure. The road passes through mountain passes towards southern Georgia
  2. 11:30 – 12:00Preparation at the starting point. Landing in the area of ​​Lake Paravani outside the village of Tambovka. Checking your equipment and setting up your trekking poles
  3. 12:00 – 14:30Ascent to the fortress. The walking part begins with a smooth climb through open terrain. We walk along paths and rocky slopes
  4. 14:30 – 15:45Rest at the fortress. Exit to the walls of the megalithic fortress. We examine the preserved masonry and the internal perimeter of the complex. An hour for relaxation and a picnic lunch
  5. 15:45 – 17:30Descent to transfer. Return trekking to the road at a higher pace
  6. 17:30 – 21:00Return to the capital. Boarding the transfer, return trip to Tbilisi
  7. 21:00Finish of the hike. Arrival at the starting point at the metro station “300 Aragviytsev”
