Day itinerary

07:00 – 10:30Departure from Tbilisi (metro station 300 Aragviytsev) - road to the village. Sioni. We drive along the Georgian Military Road, after about 1.5-2 hours there is a short sanitary stop, Cross Pass and descent to the village of Sioni
10:30 – 11:00Preparation and start of the route. We park, distribute snacks, brief instructions and head out to the trail.
11:00 – 13:00Ascent through the Sakhidari valley to the Sakhizari Pillars. We go up through picturesque alpine meadows. After about 3 km, a panorama of eroded pillar rocks opens up
13:00 – 15:30Rest near the pillars, photo shoot and picnic. Admiring the unique volcanic relief
15:30 – 17:30Return descent to the car in Sioni. We go down the path and return the other way at a calm pace.
17:30 – 20:30Return road to Tbilisi. 3 hours on the road, taking into account possible congestion, to the 300 Aragviytsev metro station
