River valley and Mount ChaukhiAfter a steep climb at the beginning of the route, we have a pleasant walk through the valley with a gentle climb. We will walk along the river overlooking the majestic Mount Chaukhi and stop at the Fifth Season camp restaurant

Glacial lake JutaThe purest lake high in the mountains. On the way to it we will overcome a couple of small fords. An ideal place for a long break, a picnic and relaxation by the water

Day itinerary

07:30 – 11:00Departure from Tbilisi (metro station 300 Aragviytsev). The road to the bridge in the Juta gorge along the Georgian Military Road
11:00 – 11:50Hiking along the gorge from the bridge to the village of Juta (about 3 km)
11:50 – 12:40Ascent from Juta to the Fifth Season Hotel
12:40 – 13:10Holidays at Fifth Season. Observation deck, photo, tea or coffee
13:10 – 14:40Fifth Season – waterfall – Lake Juta. Comfortable flat trail through the valley with a slight rise at the end
14:40 – 15:40Picnic on Lake Juta
15:40 – 17:00Return descent from the lake to the car
17:40 – 21:00Return road to Tbilisi, taking into account evening traffic
