Day itinerary

  1. 07:30 – 10:30Departure from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda to the Gergeti Trinity. Transfer along the Georgian Military Road with a coffee stop in Gudauri
  2. 10:30 – 14:00Climbing from the temple through the pass to AltiHut. An active and prolonged climb at a group pace with pauses for breathing and photography.
  3. 14:00 – 15:00Exit to the glacier and its inspection. Passing the final section behind the shelter, reaching the observation point of the glacier tongue and moraine
  4. 15:00 – 16:00Picnic at its best. Lunch with a view of the top of Kazbek at an altitude of 3000 meters
  5. 16:00 – 18:30Descent to the Gergeti Temple. Return down - trekking poles are recommended to protect your knees
  6. 18:30 – 21:30Return road to Tbilisi. Transfer to metro station 300 Aragviytsev after a long and busy day

After the hike, take a break and enjoy lunch with a mountain view. Every guest gets two onigiri with different fillings, plus hot tea and coffee
